We have been searching for our own style of logo and have found it as you all might be aware but we have failed to share the story…
The Font was created by Jim Salter, a family friend for a very long time. He and his family have been in my life for all of it and they have always pushed boundries on anything they have focused on and between them all have created all kinds of inspiring images, pottery and memories.
Mom told us that they were doing I think a pop up shop and she told us about the font he had also been working on. We saw it and simply were blown away as it encompassed all that we were and trying to be. I emailed them and we sorted out the deal and now we have it as our logo and extremely proud of it we are too.

Towersey Festival 2019 and The Silent Urban Folk Theory…
Through 2018 we have been very busy in the background, talking and plotting, working hard and creating (but mostly bursting with excitement!) new ideas to help light the folk fire in younger audiences and so it is with great pleasure we can now announce that we shall be (for the first time anywhere!) taking The Urban Folk Theory’s Live Silent Ceilidh Band to Towersey Festival 2019 Whoop Whoop!
It’s going to be epic…2 channels, live top folk tunes along side some absolute corking classics from disco, funk and ting. Throw in some modern trail-blazers and hits, add led headphones and late night party people and you have The Urban Folk Theory’s Live silent Ceilidh…and thats not all.
You’ll just have to be there to find out what else!
The Towersey Festival line up has just been released and it looks absolutely awesome and we can’t wait!
